The
Hardware Configuration Management Specialist
will implement and document a communications plan and design drawings across a diverse RNEC/LNEC network infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop electronic materials and communications tactics for Land Mobile Radio.
Write and edit communications materials based on Information Technology (IT) concepts and terminology.
Translate technical IT information into layman’s terms.
Perform in-depth QC editorial checks.
Track and report to Government the results of internal communications activities.
Provide input to weekly Technical Review Board (TRB) and Change Control Board (CCB) meetings.
Backup existing backup systems and off-site storage sites.
Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off-site as necessary.
Maintain backup systems and components, including on-call, after-hours support, seven (7) days a week.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
A combination of experience and training may be used in lieu of a degree.
6+ years of relevant experience.
Possess Baseline Certifications for IAT-II IAW DoD 8570.01-M and BBP 05-PR-M-0002.
Secret clearance Tier 5 investigation required.
