Headquartered in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, we're proud to be at the forefront of powering progress in the industry.About the RoleDBE UTILITY SERVICES (a division of United Utility) is seeking a full-time Project Manager for the Water/Wastewater team in central Florida. DBE is an underground utilities company with its main headquarters located in Palm Beach County, FL and a satellite office in Jacksonville, FL. We specialize in directional drilling, water, sewer, gas, fiber, and power.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall management of projects from estimating to construction closeout including but not limited to bidding, procurement, project controls, constructability reviews, material management, pre-construction, construction management, financial tracking and budgeting, progress meetings, final walk throughs, and final closeout.Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs.Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to assign tasks and responsibilities.Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement effective solutions.Ensure adherence to industry best practices, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.Responsibilities include document control and handling, coordination of project requirements between the field, office, and municipalities.Relate to daily activities, whereabouts and progress of multiple construction crews and their projects.Key QualificationsProven experience (4+ years) of project management experience in underground utilities.In-depth knowledge of electric utility systems, equipment, and infrastructure.A versatile employee bringing a well-rounded understanding of both office and field operations.Promoting open and continuous communication between various customers, departments, and personnel.Direct and coordinate activities of several disciplines on a project of moderate scope and/or a combination of smaller projects.Report regularly on progress, cost and schedule metrics, procurement issues, safety or environmental concerns, design questions, potential impacts, and any issues requiring office support.Ability and willingness to travel to job sites and client meetings located within the Southeast. Occasional overnight stays due to distance may be required.Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.Must be a self-starter who can work independently.Other duties as assigned.Key Nice-To-HavesProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.Key InfoWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, talk, or hear.
