Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and setting up CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with machinists and engineers.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, or other machining processes.Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create accurate programs.Set up and calibrate CNC machines, ensuring proper tool selection and alignment.Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.Troubleshoot programming and machine issues, implementing solutions promptly.Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.Maintain documentation of program changes, machine setups, and inspection results.Collaborate with design and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes and product designs.Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC programming preferred.Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code) and CAD/CAM software.Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.Comfortable working in a machine shop environment with noise and safety precautions.
