Description
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for:Establishing sourcing strategies.Proactively supporting initiatives that enhance the customer experience.Evaluating various software cost models and presenting strategic recommendations to partners.Managing negotiation and contract processes for large-scale software purchases across the enterprise.Collaborating with business and technical teams to fully understand organizational requirements.Leading cross-functional groups to define effective requirements for supplier responses.Researching and developing alternative supply sources.Leveraging industry knowledge to guide effective sourcing strategies, including RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes.Assessing financial stability and viability of potential suppliers.Performing business analyses with a strategic focus on total cost of ownership.Continuously seeking cost-saving options and implementing steps to achieve them.Overseeing supplier performance and providing support when issues arise.Creating strategic category plans aligned with business objectives, market conditions, and benchmarking data.Managing all phases of change within the organization.Guiding stakeholders through technology adoption processes.Qualifications
Required:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.Understanding of software services, including perpetual, term, and subscription agreements, maintenance, and IT products.Familiarity with IT and software-related terminology.At least 5 years of experience in software procurement, including contract negotiation and management.1-3 years of experience with digital procurement or contract management tools.Work Environment
Office-based: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.Benefits
Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 + Generous 401k Match + Best in Class Healthcare.
