Forterra is the go-to provider of ground autonomy solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense, which harnesses the technology for asymmetric warfare in critical conditions.About the roleForterra is seeking a Business Systems Manager with a relentless pursuit of achieving strategic and tactical initiatives for the company and a drive to improve the effectiveness of their colleagues. Reporting to the Head of Business Systems, the Business Systems Manager is a leader within the Business Systems team that can effectively communicate and drive business outcomes for our internal stakeholders that use Netsuite to perform their daily work. The Business Systems Manager will manage a project portfolio and ensure the effective deployment and integration of enhancements to Netsuite and the tools that Netsuite integrates with.What you'll doActs as a product owner for assigned internal tools, understanding internal user needs and translating them into implemented solutions that increase operational effectiveness.Owns a subset of Forterra’s growing list of business tools, functionally and technically, and actively works to reduce friction and increase integration and harmony between them.Subject Matter Expert in assigned business systems. Works to tease out and root cause user challenges and map out and deliver on proposed solutions.Works cross-functionally with IT, Product, Finance, Growth, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Deployment Operations teams as a business tool and business process SME.Manages Jira task creation and triages and works through queue. Operates within agreed upon timelines as part of team Agile sprint planning process.Supports the uptime and effectiveness of business tools for internal stakeholders.QualificationsExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on structure and execution.Proven track record of independently driving cross functional collaboration to deliver complete projects on time and according to requirements.Ability to lead through ambiguity and independently run projects with minimal direction.Ability to administer software tools and deploy improvements and bug fixes; perform bulk updates.Experience with integrating business tools using third party integration software such as Celigo, or by leveraging API’s and Webhooks.Ability to take highly technical topics and translate into layman terms for users.Able to analyze business processes and propose process improvements via software to functional teams.Advanced Administrative and end user skills in Netsuite, including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Design to Build, SuiteScript, SuiteBilling, Advanced Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Quality Management.Preferred QualificationsExperience in using and/or administering business systems at a technology manufacturing company.Experience working with Agile Software Development Methodology.Experience administering, or power-user of: Salesforce, Jira, Celigo, Slack, Rippling, Lattice, Ramp, Miro, Quip.Education & ExperienceB.S. or B.A in a related field from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.5+ years as a Netsuite administrator for a manufacturing company.Previous technology support or software engineering skills a plus.US Salary Range$85,000—$105,000The salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more. Equity in Forterra is included in most of our full-time, high-demand roles and is therefore considered part of Forterra’s overall compensation package.
