The Senior Software Engineer, Communities will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering cutting-edge E-commerce solutions using the Magento 2.x framework and Craft CMS. As a key member of the Scrum team, the engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable, high-quality software solutions. The role involves leading and mentoring a team of developers, ensuring high productivity and adherence to industry best practices. The engineer will design innovative solutions to complex technical challenges, contribute to technical documentation, and engage in code reviews and quality assurance processes. Additionally, the role requires working with the DevOps team to facilitate smooth deployment and maintenance, while staying abreast of the latest industry trends in software development. This position demands advanced expertise in Magento architecture, PHP, Vue.js, and API development, alongside a strong foundation in cloud platforms and microservice architecture.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

7+ years Magento development7+ years PHP development5+ years CMS developmentExperience with enterprise-level Magento projectsBachelor’s DegreeMagento Architecture: Advanced understanding and application of Magento architecture.Object-Oriented Programming: Advanced proficiency in object-oriented programming principles and practices.PHP and Unit Testing: Advanced proficiency in PHP development and unit testing.Content Management Systems: Advanced proficiency in CMS platforms for building templates and front-end components (Craft preferred).Accessibility Considerations: Experience with accessibility standards and best practices.Mentoring: Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.Cloud Platforms: Intermediate proficiency in at least one cloud platform.Microservice Architecture: Foundational knowledge of microservice architecture.Vue.js and API Development: Advanced proficiency in Vue.js and API development, including GraphQL or similar technologies.IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE:
