3 Programmer III (Developer/Programmer Analyst 3)
candidates to work on a 100% on-site project for the
Texas Department of Agriculture . Candidates will provide highly advanced programming services for Applications/Software Development projects, working with web-based and client/server applications to enhance system capabilities, improve performance, and support various department functions.Responsibilities:Perform senior-level computer programming, debugging, testing, and documentation of complex programs.Develop web-based applications using
C# (.NET), MVC, and SQL .Design and implement programs or routines to enhance front and back-end web applications using
HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET (Blazor)/C# .Analyze and provide metrics reports to improve website layout and performance.Offer technical support by diagnosing issues and implementing changes to maintain optimal software performance.Collaborate with systems analysts, architects, and business units to gather and validate requirements, ensuring technical solutions meet user needs.Recommend process improvements for application development projects.Perform research and analysis for custom software enhancements and updates.Skills and Qualifications:8+ years
of experience in programming and software development, with expertise in creating and managing complex systems.Experience in performing tasks independently, requiring a high level of creativity and decision-making latitude.Bachelor’s degree or higher
in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Expertise in developing API automation, performance automation, and web applications using
C# ,
.NET framework ,
MVC , and
SQL Server .5+ years
of experience in designing and developing web and windows-based applications using
.NET ,
HTML ,
ASP.NET (Blazor) ,
C# .5+ years
of experience with
Azure DevOps
or
AWS DevOps
tools and practices.Demonstrated experience working in
agile development environments , participating in
scrum
sessions.US Citizenship
or
Green Card
is
required .Candidates
must have
prior experience working with
State of Texas agencies .Candidates must be
local
to Austin, TX, or willing to relocate at their own expense.Preferred Skills:Advanced-level technical support and troubleshooting experience for software applications.Strong communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.Experience in the public sector or highly regulated environments, especially within Texas state agencies.Terms of Service:Total estimated hours: 2080 hours per candidate.Services may be amended, renewed, or extended upon mutual agreement.Work Location:On-site
