Job Responsibilities:

Participate and contribute in the full project life cycle, including gathering requirements, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support of applications using Node.js, Angular, and cloud technologies (AWS) preferably with .NET background.

Participate in estimating assigned work effort and be accountable for completion dates.

Plan, design, and develop cloud-based applications.

Deploy and debug cloud-native/serverless applications throughout the development lifecycle.

Document and code to allow other engineers to reuse and support components in the future.

Collaborate with offshore teams on the implementation of multiple projects.

Troubleshoot critical production issues as needed.

Participate in release management and support as needed.

Follow standard software development methodologies and Agile practices to produce high-quality applications efficiently.

Effectively manage multiple project deliverables concurrently.

Accountability for project results.

Manage interpersonal communication and problem resolution.

Skills and Experience Required:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with object-oriented programming languages (preferably .NET but not mandatory).

At least 1-2 years’ experience with Node.js.

A minimum of 1 year’s experience with AWS core services building serverless applications like S3, Lambda, EC2, SNS, SQS, Step Functions, and Cloud Watch.

Hands-on AWS experience with serverless approaches using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS, or EKS with at least 2 implementations (preferably in an enterprise-scale environment).

Desirable skills include 2 years’ experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular.

Fluency with CI/CD toolsets such as Azure DevOps.

Strong knowledge of API development (Creating & Consuming).

Conceptual knowledge of database normalization as well as implementation, and familiarity with NoSQL databases.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work with globally dispersed teams.

Agile/Scrum experience.

AWS Certified Developer Associate – Preferred.
