Senior Data Engineer - Financial Products - Hybrid in Charlotte, NC*Candidate must be able to work on clients W2 without a vendor, employer or sponsorship**Candidate must be able to work onsite in Charlotte, NC on day 1*We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with

7+ years of finance experience

or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education. This role is pivotal in leading complex initiatives related to finance data strategy, application processes, and controls, particularly as we undertake significant projects, including a reengineering effort of all products

(deposits, loans, traded products, etc.)

and

migrating a large number of applications to the cloud.Key Responsibilities:Lead complex initiatives related to finance data strategy and application processes.Provide technical expertise on data and platform migration analysis to support management decision-making.Engage in performance improvement and optimization efforts for high-volume, near real-time reporting solutions.Design best practices and provide training and guidance on performance tuning.Ensure effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand and internal control standards.Implement complex initiatives impacting multiple lines of business, ensuring deliverables are met.Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.Qualifications:Required:7+ years of finance experience or equivalent (work experience, training, military experience, education).Advanced SQL skills.Expertise in data analysis and data engineering.Nice to Have:Proficiency in

automation and reporting tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, etc.Product domain expertise in

Loans, Traded Products, Deposits, or General Ledger (GL).Familiarity with
