Join the global IT team at Shure! Great opportunity, on a critical team supporting a multi-year, multi phased S4 journey. A green field approach is being taken to this transformational journey. The first two releases of S4 have been successfully implemented - Finance and Procure to Pay (Ariba). The Order to Cash implementation is currently in preparation phase. The last phase of the S4 implementation will include Manufacturing and Direct Procurement and will allow the transition to the new S4 platform from ECC.The SAP system is used to support all the key business processes including Manufacturing, Order processing and Invoicing, Procurement and Month end reporting. The application eco system at Shure includes SAP S/4, Ariba, IBP, SAP ECC, Salesforce, SharePoint, Boomi, Informatica, SAP Hybris and many other cutting edge technologies.In your role as
Lead Analyst, SAP Security,
you will collaborate closely with internal IT and business associates located in the US, Europe and Asia to support the global SAP landscape across S/4, ECC, BW, Ariba, CPI, HANA, Solution Manager. You will be responsible for projects, day to day support and continuous improvements. This role will also proactively identify and implement improvements in the security design and processes to optimize the environment, improve responsiveness and provide excellent customer experience. This position requires exposure to industry best practices, technology trends and the ability to balance security with business enabling capabilities.This role is hybrid and based in our Niles, IL location.Responsibilities
Supports account setup and maintenance, role development, authorization management in SAP landscape (ECC, BW, Ariba, S/4, CPI, HANA, Solution Manager)Performs ongoing review, analysis and plans for improving SAP system security conforming to SAP documented best practices and Shure's functional needsDocuments issues, gaps, resolution activities with root-cause analysisSupports projects by translating functional security requirements into technical security role and authorization designsCollaborates with internal functional application management, solution and technical teams to streamline security related changes and has a customer focused mindsetExperience with SOD, SOX and audit best practices. Maintains a best practice model for security design and deploymentMaintains and develops Audit controls to ensure the governance and compliance of the systems is maintainedBe the owner and performer of the controls, such as reviewing user access and critical roles, and perform annual control testingWorks with Internal auditors and fulfills any data requests in a timely mannerRemediate and mitigate any audit issues as neededMonitor, investigate, and report on security events and incidentsBuilds, maintains and communicates appropriate SAP security policies, processes and proceduresManage the change management process for SAP security related changes like role creation/changesPrioritizes workload effectively in a fast-paced environment while balancing day-to-day support activities with project needs and timelinesCollaborates with the IT project management office to provide the necessary inputs around demand, capacity and resource allocationAssists in the development and maintenance of SAP security policies, standards, and procedures; and assist in resolving security policy issues and implementing security proceduresMaintains and updates Role-Matrix, Security RunbooksKnowledge of SAP Licensing reportsProvides visibility and reporting into SLAs, trends, root cause and opportunitiesResearch ERP security technologies and trends to maintain subject matter expertise and always seeks to improve Shure's posture, processes and approach to securityContributes to building competencies at the Shure India location and develop 'follow the sun model' for global supportQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum of eight years progressive SAP Security experienceProven track record in managing SAP Security within S/4, ECC, BW, Ariba, CPI, HANA, Solution Manager modules and applicationsStrong desire to build, improve and maintain a pristine SAP landscapeDemonstrated understanding of Segregation of Duties concepts and Sarbanes-Oxley frameworkHighly responsive with a strong sense of ownership in building and maintaining positive customer relationshipsProcess-oriented with high attention to detail in exercising experience-based judgment to determine appropriate methods and actionsAbility to collaborate and influence IT and business stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as some project management skillsExcellent problem solving and root cause analysis skillsAble to quickly learn new concepts and technologyProficient in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to travel occasionally, perform after-hours project-related work, and provide on-call support as neededWHO WE ARE
