All Qualified Resumes Responded to in 24 hrs or LessActive DOD Secret#CJAs the System Integration & Test Engineer, the candidate will support the Integration & Verification Lead providing technical solutions and driving development and execution of SEIT Test Events. Technical responsibilities include plan preparation and maintenance, procedure development, conducting verification at the Segment/Element level, supporting metrics collection, supporting defect resolution with product owners, execution and reporting of the verification effort. The candidate will provide engineering support and technical direction for the execution of a portion of the program’s test program, test processes including baseline definition, test architecture design, verification and validation. The Integration & Test Engineer must have integration and test expertise, and be capable of developing a strong rapport within the GPS-OCX program and the customer community.Required Skills:
2+ years demonstrated experience and knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle to include:System integration and test planning and implementation for large scale systems using state-of-the-art technologyTechnical Baseline Management ◦Management and integration of COTS/FOSSDevelopment of test architecture/frameworkPreparation and reporting of program plans, schedules and metricsSpecification of test verification requirementsReview and approval of integration and test procedures and plansUse of discrepancy report systems and developing closure plansAbility to identify, manage, and mitigate technical riskExperience developing test procedures that exercise interfaces external to the ground system being testedExperience testing Command and Control software running on Windows and Linux based operating systemsExperience integrating, troubleshooting, problem isolation of software and hardware based systemsExperience developing test procedures and tools that capture performance based metrics in support of requirement sell-offExperience transitioning newly deployed systems to the operations teamsExperience working across product teams in a complex multiple stakeholder environmentStrong desire to learn, take initiative and contribute in a team-oriented environmentKnowledge of software development lifecycle models (waterfall and Agile)Must be willing to work >50 hour work/week for extended periods of time.Must be willing to travel; expect >50% travel for short duration (2-3 mo)Desired Skills:
