DescriptionMain PurposeThe Project Interface Manager is tasked with facilitating and coordinating the identification, understanding, implementation, monitoring, and closeout of interfaces, including resolution of interface issues. The Project Interface Manager will assist with the development of the Interface Plan which will provide identification and definition of the technical and execution interfaces for the project.Essential FunctionsDevelop the Interface Management plan that will assist with the coordination and monitoring; detail obligations and roles in resolution; execution and timely completion of the interfaces and interface issues.Manage the interfaces between in-house entities, engineering, subcontractors, Client and other entities, as required to effectively execute the project. Identify, categorize, schedule, and assess the impact of interfaces between internal technical disciplines, and external technical entities.Prepare interface matrixes.Ensure that the required information flows on time across the interfaces defined in the matrices.In collaboration with the relevant engineering requisitioning package engineer, coordinate multi-discipline interfaces with vendors and vessels.Ensure that lessons learned are input to the lessons learned system.Assist with development of the project close out report.Support Interface manager in ensuring that all project interfaces are covered.Contribute to develop/maintain interface management system/procedures.Monitor interface issues between contractors and client.Attend progress or monthly meetings with relevant contractors.Contribute to CLIENT monthly report.Work with project team to address and mitigate interface issues.Expedite outstanding interface issues.Report open and closed interface information.Identify potential interface issues that may result in variation orders.Contribute to training and development of client staff.Physical RequirementsStanding:

Employees must lift up to 15 lbs.Desirable Experience/TrainingBachelor degree in engineering/BSc Degree or equivalent.15+ years of experience in offshore Oil & Gas industry.5+ years of Interface Management experience.Proven track record working on complex oil and gas projects.Interface management systems and processes reflecting best industry practice.Familiar with Project management processes (engineering, construction & risk management).Contracts and contract interfaces.Knowledge of Offshore platforms production systems.Job RequirementsSpanish language knowledge desirable.Good coordination, monitoring and supervisory skills.Excellent communication skills - written and oral.Proactive approach & attention to detail.Team player.Ability to plan/anticipate critical issues and focus on sound resolution.Ability to maintain sound interface management systems.Ability to multi-task, work and interface across contract boundaries.Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.Must be able to pass a background check.Travel requirements:

20% - 30% to Engineering and Client offices as well as construction sites as warranted.
