Currently, we are seeking a Senior Cyber Engineer-P3 to join our team as a key contributor for the Systems Security Engineering team. As a member of our elite Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team, we want you to develop solutions to protect the Warfighter’s technology advantage. Systems Security Engineering creates holistic security solutions leveraging Software Assurance, Risk Management Framework, Authorization to Operate, Vulnerability Scanning, and system hardening. This is an onsite position at Raytheon in Richardson, Texas.What You Will Do

Supporting the development of cybersecurity requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and policiesLinux Bash scripting, Python scripting and Perl scriptingConducting ACAS and STIG scans, creating patch documentation for customerDefining security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software componentUnderstanding and integrating cybersecurity development activitiesSupporting the development of Risk Management Framework (RMF) documents and controls validation testing for Authority to Operate (ATO) accreditationsPerforming analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test resultsConducting cybersecurity audits to ensure appropriate implementation and compliance of the security postureConducting technical and nontechnical trade studiesUnderstanding, and compliance with, DoD technology release and export licensing policiesPerforming Task Lead duties (e.g., task planning, product owner)Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of relevant engineering experienceActive and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI with Poly security clearance is required prior to start dateExperience in Systems Engineering, including any of the following: System Requirements definition and analysis, System Test and Analysis, Systems Engineering Studies and/or NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)Experience in systems security including computer hardware and software operating system and application solutions in both a stand-alone and in LAN/WAN configurationsCyber Certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEHQualifications We Prefer

Linux Bash scripting, Python scripting and Perl scripting experiencePowerShell and Ansible Playbooks experienceKnowledge of information security toolsets including anti-virus, Vulnerability Assessment, host-based or endpoint security solutions, Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), and Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) and centralized auditing toolsKnowledge of Platform One DevSecOps environmentKnowledge of Host Based Security System (HBSS) / Endpoint Security Services (ESS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) / Tenable Security Center and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)Experience in the field of Systems Engineering, including any of the following: System Requirements definition and analysis, System Test and Analysis, Systems Engineering StudiesSecurity features and/or vulnerability analysis of various operating systems as defined by Intelligence agenciesExperience with IT and/or network and system security administration, including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for UNIX, MS Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and CISCO systemsUnderstanding of Systems Engineering requirements, specifications, and Experience implementing DoD and Federal IA Certification and Accreditation Processes, IA controls and developing and maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentationStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with coworkers, suppliers, management, and customers in a team environmentCritical Technology or Critical Program Information (CPI) identification or analysisFamiliar with NIST RMF, as described in NIST Special Publication 800-37What We Offer
