Lead Backend Engineer

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Lead Backend Developer to join a team of engineers responsible for end-to-end application delivery. This will include coordination with required teams for production deployments, monitoring application health and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), support triage of any production issues as and when needed and collaborate in troubleshooting complex data, features, service, and platform issues. You will be expected to jump right in and help lead the team, and the ability to work with high level stakeholders across all lines of business. You must come with an excellent understanding of GCP and ability to communicate its best practices to necessary teams. This position will also require you to work off hours when needed, specifically having to hop on calls in IST (Indian Standard Time). This position is set for 12 months to start sitting in either Woonsocket RI or Irving Texas 2-3 Days a week with the compensation ranging anywhere from $70-$80/hr.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
