Zurich is currently looking for an experienced Software Instructional Design Consultant to support the Crop (RCIS) business unit of Zurich North America. Ideally, this position would be based out of our Anoka, MN office, but can be located virtually anywhere in the United States.The ideal candidate will design and develop learning solutions covering Software solutions related to crop insurance concepts, rules, processes, and procedures. This person will work in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop instructionally sound learning material to address specific needs within the organization, and will be responsible for the following phases of the learning solution cycle: analysis, design, development and evaluation.The
Software Instructional Design Specialist
will:Consult with SMEs and research policy and procedure documents to design comprehensive and targeted learning solutionsMake recommendations to ensure performance outcomes are attainedUse a variety of instructional design techniques to design and develop learning solutions of medium to high complexityDevelop material for a variety of delivery formats (instructor-led, self-paced, blended learning)Utilize strong sound instructional design practices and principles for various modalities and delivery methodsUpdate and revise training materials on an ongoing basisBasic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Curriculum Design areaOR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Curriculum Design areaPreferred QualificationsStrong sound instructional design practices and principles for various modalities and delivery methodsStrong technical writing and editing skillsAbility to demonstrate creativity in the design of training methodologies and materialsStrong project management and time management skillsStrong working knowledge of course development tools such as Articulate and Adobe FlashExperience in an insurance environmentExperience consulting with business partners, clients or stakeholdersKnowledge of the global learning and development marketplace, consultants and providers of L&D solutionsRemote Working: YesSchedule: Full TimeEmployment Sponsorship Offered: No
