Vaco is actively seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer for a direct-hire position with our client in Memphis. This is a hybrid opportunity to join a nationally respected organization that is a leader in their field.
Summary
The Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain our Azure cloud infrastructure and services. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the availability, scalability, and security of Azure-based applications and systems. You will troubleshoot and optimize Azure environments while keeping up with the latest technologies and best practices in cloud computing.
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy and manage cloud resources such as virtual machines, storage, and databases primarily within Microsoft Azure.
Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of Azure cloud services.
Collaborate with software developers and system administrators to ensure seamless integration with applications hosted on Azure.
Implement automation and orchestration using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and other Azure-native tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues and incidents within the Azure environment.
Stay updated on industry trends and certifications in Azure cloud technologies.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services.
Proficiency in Azure, with a working knowledge of AWS preferred.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Instances.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Details:
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Memphis
Total Compensation: $120k - $150k (Commensurate with skills and experience)
