Are you an AI/ML engineer ready to assist our organization in using state of the art tools to support advancing the Army’s next generation of radars?Parsons welcomes an exceptional AI/ML engineer to join our on-going Science and Technology (S&T) efforts at one of the Army’s premier R&D Centers at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. We are searching for the right engineer with a strong background in machine learning specifically in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Deep Learning (DL), and RF signal/image processing applications to participate in on-going radar research and development (R&D). As part of the Parsons team supporting advanced radar capabilities development, you will have access to state-of-the-art engineering and modeling tools and strong subject matter expertise in the areas of radar, M&S, and software/hardware development for current and future Army radar and sensor systems. You will use your experience and knowledge to develop hardware and software to improve the signal and image processing of current and next generation RF systems including radar, EW and ISR sensors, working at the edge of implementation of processing capability. You will have an opportunity to influence the development of next generation advanced radar capabilities that will include being part of a high-performing team that will research, design, develop, and integrate ML/AI technologies for various types of radar systems, integrating across existing programs to achieve end-to-end system solutions.Duties include:Provide analysis, requirements and algorithm design, implementation, integration, verification, and maintenance of artificial intelligence software systems, and collaborate across multi-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving the IT services enterprise.Research and implement state-of-the-art ML technologies tailored for application to RF data processing.Exercise a strong knowledge of software systems, AI/ML design methods, and system of systems architectures.Understand supporting technologies including cloud computing, containerization (for deployment), parallelization (for training), databases (for training data), and Git (for code management).Collaborate across multi-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving the Advanced Engineering and Modeling and Simulation Experimentation Environment and Solutions.Participate in algorithmic design and machine learning frameworks including classification and targeting techniques.Understand and follow development operations procedures such as source control, change management and release planning.Integrate AI engine/ techniques with modeling and simulation applications.Qualifications:BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or similar field2-3 years of experience with AI/ML in complex software systemsKnowledge of domain specific radar principles, including signal processing; target acquisition; target tracking; resource management; discrimination; and battle manager interfaces3 years of programming in modern C++Experience using tools such as MATLAB or Python for analysis of data setsExperience with running and modifying simulations and performing analysisMinimum Clearance Required to Start:
