This full-time position serves as a Systems Administrator on the Telemetry Engineering team at the Atlantic Test Range (ATR). ATR is the navy’s east coast open air test range and provides real-time test and evaluation (T&E) support and data acquisition services to DoD customers. This position provides broad IT support to range computer hardware and software. Come work in a fast-paced, highly rewarding technical environment at the forefront of naval T&E supporting the needs of today’s warfighter and beyond!Duties & Responsibilities:Troubleshooting and repair of computer hardware and software related issuesRespond and resolve service outages, technical queries, and other system related issuesManage user accounts/groups and group policies via Microsoft Active DirectoryAssist in gathering information and processing data related to CybersecurityPerform and evaluate vulnerability scans on production and test systemsEnsure DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts and Bulletins (IAVA, IAVB) compliance by managing the installation of new software releases, system upgrades, and installation of patches to resolve software related issues with the IT systemsIdentify areas of non-compliance by using Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).Perform and analyze system vulnerabilities using Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scansEducational, Experience, and Skills Requirements:To qualify as a Network and Computer Systems, Junior:BS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering from an accredited college or universityIn lieu of a BS Degree, a High School diploma or equivalent GED and 6 years work experience performing the stated or similar function or an Associate’s Degree plus 4 years work experience performing the stated or similar functionMeet and maintain education, training, and certification requirements in compliance with applicable DoD/DoN Cybersecurity Workforce policy (currently DoD 8570.01-M/8140.01/SECNAV 5239.2)Must hold current industry certifications to achieve and maintain IAT Level II certification IAW DoD instruction 8570.1To qualify as a Network and Computer Systems, Journeyman:BS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering from an accredited college or university.A minimum of 3 years of work experience performing the stated or similar function.In lieu of a BS Degree, a High School diploma or equivalent GED and 9 years work experience performing the stated or similar function or an Associate’s Degree plus 7 years work experience performing the stated or similar function.Meet and maintain education, training, and certification requirements in compliance with applicable DoD/DoN Cybersecurity Workforce policy (currently DoD 8570.01-M/8140.01/SECNAV 5239.2)Must hold current industry certifications to achieve and maintain IAT Level II certification IAW DoD instruction 8570.1Candidate must hold or be able to obtain a COMPTIA Security+ CE or ISC2 CISSP or able to become current within 60 daysExperience with DoDl 8500.2 Information Assurance controls (IAC) and common vulnerabilities and exposures, DISA STIGs, DoD IVAM tracking and reporting procedures, and familiarity with FISMA, DIACAP, and other information security-related federal guidelinesExperience with Citrix XenApp and Desktop, Provisioning Services, Dell Storage Manager, SAN/FiberChannel/iSCSI, and CommVault Backup Software is a plusApplicant must possess a valid driver’s license and successfully pass drug testingClearance Requirements:Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
