Salary Guide:

Is a Tier 1 D&B Contractor operating predominately in the water industry, who are delivering a significant proportion of the Severn Trent Water programme of clean and wastewater non-infrastructure projects.The Role:
They are looking to strengthen their Project Delivery team with a Civil PE for one of their flagship water treatment projects located in Derbyshire valued at over £100m. The new water treatment works will help provide up to an additional 89 million litres of drinking water per day to the region and will use innovative membrane technology that is currently in use in only one other large-scale treatment works in the country. When completed in 2025, the works will help ensure customers have a more secure and resilient supply for the future.Responsibilities:Ensure project costs do not exceed tender/varied allowance.Ensure all applications for payment are made on or before the due date.Ensure contract reviews, monthly forecasts are completed and submitted on time.Maintain good client relationships at all levels.Assist with the Project Management strategy.Establish and maintain the contract filing systems.Assist in the production of the contract programme; monitor programme and produce progress reports.Provide data for the timely production of O&M manuals.Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.Liaise with site management on design and procurement issues.Monitor subcontract performance.Assist in the preparation of the construction completion and take over documentation.Work closely with design departments to ensure timely progressing of quality solutions.Evaluate innovative solutions and processes.Contribute to risk and opportunity schedules on a monthly basis.Ensure designs are developed which are safe to construct, commission, operate and maintain.Complete the capitalisation process.Skills:Working knowledge of various conditions of contract especially IChemE & NEC.Experience of supply chain expedition.Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.CDM & Health & Safety knowledge.Relevant professional qualification an advantage.Experience of:Underground pipework and services.Concrete water retaining structures.Baseslabs.Steel framed buildings.Roads and footpaths.Security fencing.Package include:Car/car allowance (subject to role and level of position).25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (with an additional 5 days available to buy).Life Assurance.Health Insurance.Private medical Insurance.And many more benefits including – cycle to work scheme, discounts and savings Hub, kids pass etc.Job Information
