SUMMARY – PlannerWe have (3) openings for this major expansion and are offering a $750 sign on bonus. These positions are based onsite in Florence, KY.Shifts available:Monday - Thursday (6pm-6am)Thursday - Sunday (6am-6pm)Thursday - Sunday (6pm-6am)The Planner is responsible for acting as the primary interface between the customer and Jabil, managing the demand plan and ensuring timely shipment information. This role requires the development of a feasible operational plan that balances customer needs, internal capacities, and operational efficiencies. The Planner maintains full ownership of the execution of the operational plan, aiming to achieve customer satisfaction, minimize liabilities, and continuously improve planning metrics. The Planner plays a crucial role in driving performance improvements and enhancing operational efficiency.What can you expect to do?Demand Planning : Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate demand forecasts that align with customer requirements.Operational Planning : Develop and maintain a feasible and efficient operational plan that balances capacity, material availability, and production schedules to meet customer demand.Execution Oversight : Ensure the successful execution of the operational plan by collaborating with cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and addressing any issues that may arise.Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure material availability for production.Customer Satisfaction : Focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely shipments and clear communication regarding any potential delays or changes in production schedules.Risk Management : Identify potential risks related to demand fluctuations, material shortages, or production delays and develop mitigation plans to minimize liabilities.Continuous Improvement : Continuously improve the accuracy of the demand planning process, operational plan execution, and key planning metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, inventory turns).Performance Metrics : Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction to drive improvements.What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma/equivalent required.2 years of experience in material planning or production scheduling within a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of demand planning, production scheduling, and inventory management.Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and interface with customers.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.BENEFITS PACKAGE WITH JABILAlong with growth, stability, and the opportunity to be challenged, Jabil offers a competitive benefits package that includes:Competitive Base SalaryMedical, Dental, Prescription Drug, and Vision Insurance with HRA and HSA options401K MatchEmployee Stock Purchase PlanPaid Time OffTuition ReimbursementLife, AD&D, and Disability InsuranceCommuter BenefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramPet InsuranceAdoption AssistanceAnnual Merit IncreasesCommunity Volunteer Opportunities
