This position is onsite at MacDill AFB.A Network Security Engineer is part of a team of skilled Cybersecurity professionals that support the design, build, and sustainment of network based cyber defense capabilities within the organization. Network Security Engineers interact daily with a wide variety of industry leading network security products including, but not limited to, firewalls, Intrusion prevention systems, full packet capture solutions, mail gateways, advanced malware defense systems, and TLS inspection solutions. Network Security Engineers provide support to fellow stakeholders when integrating new Cybersecurity requirements into the enterprise and maintain all production network security solutions that are servicing the organization. When required, Network Security Engineers support fellow stakeholders in resolving network connectivity issues.This position is 100% onsite with our Government customer in Tampa, FL.What You'll Get to Do:Buildout a comply to connect implementation for a global networkAssist in all phases of development, design, modernization, and migration in support of a government multi-cloud environmentUtilize Cloud knowledge and experience with integration, system analysis or programming experience, including developing AWS/Azure systems requirements and design specificationWork within the Zero Trust team to design and implement policies and 802.1x technologiesParticipate on a team of skilled network security engineers responsible for the integration, operations, and sustainment of a suite of enterprise class Cybersecurity technologiesPerform the planning and implementing policy changes on network devicesAssist in the analyses and design of a worldwide network security architectureAdminister configuration changes on enterprise load balancers that include enterprise TLS break/inspectWork focused special projects both independently and within a groupParticipate in the investigation and documentation of security related incidentsImplement corrective measures in response to emerging network security threatsBrief senior contract leadership and government stakeholders on the current status of the enterprise network security posturePosition Requirements:Active Secret clearance or higherRelated technical experience in network security technologies such as Palo Alto Firewall, Cisco FTD/ASA, Forescout, Cisco ISE or 802.1x capabilitiesMust possess an active DoD 8570-compliant cyber certification at IAT Level II or betterPreferred:Microsoft Azure Solutions ArchitectAWS Certified Solutions Architect – AssociateOther Certificates supporting cloud technologies
