Genesis10 is seeking a Software Development Analyst for our client in the Healthcare industry. This Direct hire position is located in Addison, TX 75001. Only candidates local to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area will be considered.
Description:The Integration Software Development Analyst I reviews, analyzes, and modifies business application integrations including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs for new or existing systems in accordance with project plans and specifications. The Analyst I is responsible for providing accurate and timely completion of technical development and support tasks in accordance with Information Systems standards and methodologies.
Responsibilities:Responsible for developing software tasks in accordanceResponsible for developing software tasks in accordance with Information System standards and methodologiesDevelop reports, upon request, utilizing various report-writing tools in all applicationsEnsure management awareness of problems that are severe in nature or that are exceeding documented targetsReview outstanding issues on a daily basis to ensure that troubleshooting and resolutions are currentMonitor and report on any security violations related to the unwarranted access to corporate dataMaintain and update disaster recovery procedures when changes in hardware or applications occurEnsure all changes comply with change management policies and proceduresWork with end users and other Information Services staff to develop criteria for specific phases of assigned projects, and ensure proper testing of all developed solutionsAssist in the design and development of database schemasLead the development of small applications with minimal supervisionAddress Help Desk issues escalated for level 3 development supportParticipate in relevant information-sharing activitiesProvide technical mentoring to the more junior developersMaintain awareness of the rapidly changing environment and recommend cost efficient techniquesApply system requirements to design and develop business application integrations between software platforms, programs, and applicationsConduct performance benchmarking & tuning Integration interfacesHelp maintain, improve, and develop application integration processesParticipate in code reviews & optimization discussionIntegration build & deployment automation using tools like BambooConducting Unit testing & automating regression testing scenarios using SOAP UI or similar functional test suiteProvide reusable frameworks for auditing, logging, and exception handlingDocument integration business processes and business rules and maintain in tools such as ConfluenceAdhere to established Service Levels for response times to events and production incidentsPeriodic flexible work schedule
Qualifications & Education/CredentialsEducation Level: Bachelor's DegreeMajor: Computer Science or Computer EngineeringDegree must be from an accredited college or university.
Job-Related ExperienceCustomarily has at least the following experience: 2 yearsCustomarily has at least two or more years of experience as an integration software developerAt least one of the .NET languages (e.g., C#, Visual Basic .NET), Java, or other OOP language.Service-Oriented Architecture and knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML, etc.)Agile methodologiesPrior experience with Rhapsody, HL7, FHIR Integrations is highly preferredPrior experience with Clinical Workflows and Touchworks EHR highly preferredExperience with cloud platforms AWS or AzureExperience with TIBCO EMS, BusinessWorks, and BusinessConnect preferred but not requiredExperience in business process improvementThe ideal candidate has some knowledge of AWS EventBridge, SQS, and SNS
