WCS-6 SATCOM Subject Matter Expert (SME)

includes:Providing deployment, logistics, system engineering, life cycle sustainment engineering, integration, and production support for Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy qualified systems and subsystems to Government customers.Supporting Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Army, Air Force, and Department of Homeland Security customers and programs.Using technical documentation and troubleshooting aids to provide diagnostic and troubleshooting functions.Mentoring and training other staff and personnel.Job Requirements:Technical Training in a relevant Technical/Engineering Field, or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, and/or Class A/B/C military school in electronics and/or communications and/or OEM WSC-6 system specific training.Minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience on SATCOM Communications Systems, including at least five (5) years of hands-on experience.Minimum of five (5) years of experience with WCS-6 Systems.AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $71,000 - $88,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
