ERP Solution Architect
Ideal candidate has deep understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP solutions and architecture, coupled with problem solving and excellent communication skills. Ensure that ERP solution continues to deliver value and meets the evolving business needs beyond the initial deployment phase.
To be successful in this position, the candidate should have demonstrated experience working with Oracle ERP Cloud or Oracle EBS, or at minimum be very familiar with standard ERP process areas such as Order to Cash and Procure to Pay, 2 and 3 way matching, Oracle Cloud modules such as AP, Fixed Assets, GL, Inventory, Procurement and Project management. Candidate must have strong ability to drive end-to-end technical solutions working with cross-functional and external teams, as well as delivering project roadmaps with milestone tracking, and high accountability towards stated goals. Meticulous documentation skills will also be critical, as changes to technology (such as process changes) will need very detailed documentation, to meet compliance/auditor requirements. This is an on-site position based in Bellevue, WA and open to local candidates or those willing to relocate.
Responsibilities
Establish strong working relationship with Finance, Procurement, PMO, Project Management, IT, Engineering, and key business partners to ensure comprehensive and timely communication of integration projects to all relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with procurement to optimize procurement processes, troubleshooting and resolve issues related to procurement workflows, approvals, and supplier management.
Identify and drive system improvements in terms of business process, reporting, performance and system setup/design.
Streamline invoice processing, payment approval workflow, and vendor management.
Implement best practices for AP automations and efficiencies.
Address challenges related invoice creation, approval workflows, customer billings.
Support the next phases of implementation focusing on SQM (Supplier Qualification Management) and CMS (Contracts Management), EPM.
Oracle integration projects such as Concur, DataLake link to PowerBI or other Project applications such as Deltek COBRA, P6, MS Projects; API integration with order to cash system banking platforms, and AP automation software.
Define system architecture, including modules, integrations, data flows, and security controls, to support the organization’s business processes.
Collaborate with implementation partner and develop and document comprehensive design blueprints for Oracle Cloud ERP solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
Establish detailed technical design documents outlining system configurations, customizations, and extensions required to meet business needs.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to validate design decisions and ensure alignment with business goals.
Review document design assumptions, constraints, and dependencies to provide clarity and transparency throughout the implementation process.
Establish design standards and guidelines to maintain consistency and scalability across multiple projects and implementations.
Conduct system integration and performance testing to validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the system. Perform regular review/audits on procurement, Accounting, AR, AP, Fixed Asset data to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
Support training sessions for users to enhance their understanding of the Oracle modules.
Lead the project management efforts for next phases of Oracle Cloud implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards (SQA).
Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including consultants, developers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Monitor project progress and performance.
Manage change requests and scope creep, assessing their impact on project timelines and budgets.
Facilitate regular project status meetings, reporting on progress, issues, and action items to stakeholders.
Support Finance Technology Road Map.
Qualifications
Minimum 12 years of experience working with financial and/or business systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
Oracle certification for Cloud Financial modules is highly preferred.
Experience in project costing and project billing.
Experience in one or two major industries (utilities/chemicals/oil-gas, manufacturing, pharma/life sciences).
Understanding of business, finance, and accounting functions.
SQL, DBMS, and BI reporting knowledge is a plus.
Organized and detail-oriented, with high degree of accuracy.
Experience working with SaaS enterprise applications (Oracle Cloud, Concur) in organizations with government grants and/or government contracts.
Highly organized and detail-oriented; high degree of accuracy.
Capable of quickly comprehending new information and technologies.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Analytical/problem solving – ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner.
