Position Summary:As part of the Indirect Procurement Technology, you will build industry defining reusable associate and supplier facing services and products to drive differentiated experiences and cost savings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both UI and backend development, with extensive expertise using ReactJS, Java, and Spring Boot. If you are motivated by complex, purposeful challenges, a position with EBS Indirect Procurement Technology team could be the opportunity you have been looking for.What you will do:Design and implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces using ReactJS and modern JavaScript frameworks.Develop robust server-side applications using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring high performance and scalability.Database Management: Manage and interact with databases such as MySQL and Hive, including schema design, querying, and optimization.Create, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.Leverage Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for deployment, scaling, and maintaining cloud-based applications.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.Write clean, maintainable code, and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and resolve issues promptly.Maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and codebases.What you will bring:Proficiency in ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with frontend build tools and frameworks is a plus.Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot. Familiarity with microservices architecture is advantageous.Hands-on experience with MySQL and Hive. Understanding of database design, indexing, and performance tuning.Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development. Experience with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI is a plus.Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure or GCP.Proficiency with version control systems like Git.Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
