DescriptionLocation: US VA – Virginia BeachReports to: Program ManagerEmployee Type: Full-TimeTravel Required: Yes/ up to 10%Approximate Start Date: Upon Suitable Candidate SelectionPosting Close: Upon Suitable Candidate SelectionWarrant Technologies is seeking an Analyst, Computer Systems I, for our government customer in Virginia Beach, VA.Position Description:As an Analyst, Computer Systems I, you will:Solve computer problems and apply computer technology to meet the individual needs of an organization.Define the goals of the system and divide the solutions into individual steps and separate procedures using structured analysis, data modeling, information engineering, and other techniques.Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to help management decide on the financial feasibility of proposed technology implementations.Determine necessary computer hardware and software after system acceptance.Coordinate tests and observe the initial use of the system to ensure it performs as planned.Prepare specifications, flow charts, and process diagrams for computer programmers to follow and work with them to debug the system.You must be proficient in both programming and systems analysis, with experience in databases, object-oriented programming languages, client-server applications development, and multimedia and Internet technology.Position Requirements:At least five (5) years of professional experience in computer systems analysis, preferably with Navy training systems.Basic level knowledge and skills, at a minimum, with a certification in IA standards and policies.Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management and automated deployments.Strong understanding of testing methodologies, with experience creating and maintaining automated test suites.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and workflows.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex environments.MUST be a US Citizen.Must possess active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.Preferred Qualifications:CompTIA Security Plus certification or any IAT Level II Certification.Cyber-Information Technology (IT)/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF).BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar area.Education and Certification:Associate's Degree in a technical field.Must obtain or be willing to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification.WARRANT TECHNOLOGIES is an Equal Opportunity Employer with a commitment to diversity.
