.NET Developer II- Hybrid (NJ)

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office (Morristown, NJ).We are seeking a full stack .NET developer to join our Finance Technology team at First Citizens Bank. This is an individual contributor role responsible for providing advanced technical support to data processing systems. The position involves analyzing existing and proposed data processing systems or procedures that improve processing capabilities, assisting in the installation of programs and procedures developed in coordination with end user groups, and enhancing data processing systems and procedures through system analysis, coding, testing, and other activities that facilitate technical business objectives. The role may occasionally guide less experienced analysts in the work group.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and test software applications in the Finance Technology team.Provide technical support by performing coding, ensuring processes run smoothly, and continuously improving processing capabilities.Work closely with business units and operation teams to support their business objectives.Drive and collaborate with other developers within and outside the team to design effective solutions.Document testing, error resolutions, and the overall software development process.Work in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace.Dive deep into issues and outages to establish root causes and communicate them to business partners; may require being on call in case of production issues.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in application software programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in application software programming.Preferred area of experience includes: Microsoft.NET, ASP.NET, C#, SQL, SSIS/SSDT, Azure DevOps.Skills required: Experience with programming languages such as Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, JavaScript, HTML 5, XML, SQL scripting.Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps or similar code repository systems.Experience with ETL packages using SSIS.Experience with ServiceNow or other information technology service ticketing systems.Knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodology (like Waterfall and Agile).First Citizens benefits programs are designed to meet our associates where they are in life.
