This role sits on the web presence team, part of the Creative Team at Notion. Web presence is responsible for our public facing website,
Notion.com . We exist to create a high quality baseline for Notion’s reputation in the world and to our users. We aspire to make the site a dream to make, edit and visit. Our team is a small group of designers and engineers serving creative needs across the company and pushing forward our unique and beloved brand. From information architecture to polished pixels, you’ll work at every stage of a project from initial concepts through to production. Join a growing team of designers and engineers and help to shape our websiteCraft every detail of projects, from initial idea through to productionWork closely with the rest of our Creative Team to ensure our bar of quality extends across all aspects of our brandCreate design systems, prototypes and whatever else is needed to bring great ideas to life on
Notion.comCollaborate with teams across the company to bring initiatives and new products to market using novel design and storytelling solutionsDevelop a deep understanding of Notion’s brand and communications, delivering launches and key pages for stakeholders across the companyIf you’re comfortable with it, join along in the fun actually coding
Notion.comSkills you'll need to bring
4–8 years experience in an agency or in-house environmentBachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field (interaction design, human-computer interaction, etc)Outstanding portfolio of relevant, consumer- and/or enterprise-facing workComfort with ambiguity and early-stage ideas; an ability to turn nebulous prompts into actionable outcomesCommitment to typographic excellence, and sensitivity to the most minute detailsStrong systems-thinker, and a self-starter who brings new ideas and approaches to the tableCompelling presentation and communication skills, with a habit of proactive communicationA desire to review work, mentor others, and co-create with partners from different backgrounds and expertisesThorough understanding of the modern suite of design tools, including FigmaNice to haves

The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco or New York City, the estimated base salary range for this role is $170-$200,000.
