Desktop Support Technician
at our Woodlands, TX location. The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our end-users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic IT environment where you can enhance your skills while supporting end-users with their technical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide desktop applications support (local and remote).
Provide desktop hardware support (local and remote).
Perform new user account creations and user account terminations.
Maintain an inventory of laptops and desktops stored at the location.
Imaging of office and field computers (local and remote).
Collaborate with the Service Desk to manage and resolve tickets.

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems.
Experience in Windows support, troubleshooting, and end-user computing (EUC).
Excellent ability to communicate effectively with end-users to provide technical support.
Must be motivated and have ability to work in fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong customer service skills.
Adhere to established company procedures and policies, work schedule, attendance standards, and be punctual to work and meetings.
Location, Physical Requirements, and PPE:
Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, lift and carry under 25 lbs., perceive depth and operate a motor vehicle.
Conditions may include working inside and/or outside. May work around machines with moving parts and moving objects. Working near radiant and electrical energy. Working closely with others or working alone. Working extended or irregular hours and travelling by all possible modes of transportation.
Equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing the essential job function include but not limited to computers and related equipment, calculators, copiers, fax machines, telephone and vehicles. Ability to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to, safety glasses, hardhat, reinforced toed shoes, coveralls, gloves, and ear plugs or muffs.
