We need your help.Our team is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer that is in the early stages of their career and has basic experience in support of enterprise software development and delivery. This position supports delivering capabilities to the space community through the development and support of DevSecOps tooling, pipelines, and containerized deployments. In this position, you will be a member of a growing Agile team supporting the development of critical mission applications for the space community as a member of Parsons’ Space Operations directorate. You will work with software engineers and other DevOps engineers to help create, deploy, and maintain space situational awareness solutions for DoD operators and analysts.This position supports hybrid work with some time working at a client site or in the Parsons office and some time working from home.Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline with at least 5 years of technical experience; additional relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.
Familiarity with DevOps (CI/CD) pipeline concepts and tools (e.g., Gitlab, Nexus, Artifactory, Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, Fortify).
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go), preferably Bash.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both spoken and written English.
Must be a US citizen with ability and willingness to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:Familiarity with GitOps tools (e.g., Flux and ArgoCD).
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).
Familiarity with building software written in multiple languages (Java, NodeJS, Python, Go).
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Git.
Understanding of deploying and configuring software in AWS cloud environments.
Experience with Gitlab pipelines.
Security+ certification.
