Our .NET/C# multi-tenant SaaS software platform is fully hosted in the Microsoft Azure public cloud.WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including configuration, automation, and monitoring, to facilitate fast and reliable software releases.Containerization and Orchestration:
Utilize Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to containerize applications and scale them efficiently.Cloud Management:
Manage cloud resources on the Azure platform optimizing cost, security, and performance.Monitoring and Logging:
Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the availability, performance, and security of systems and applications.Security and Compliance:
Collaborate with the security team to implement best practices for security, compliance, and vulnerability management.Scripting and Automation:
Write scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.Collaboration:
Work closely with development to understand underlying requirements and implement infrastructure to support it.Documentation:
Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and processes.CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS & WHY YOU’RE A GREAT FIT FOR THE ROLE:The Essentials
A minimum of 5 years of major cloud service provider operations experience is required (Azure ideally preferred).Proven experience with containers and container orchestrations systems is required, such as Docker; Kubernetes (AKS) and Helm.Experience designing, improving, and operating CI/CD release pipelines is required.Templating and Configuration Languages such as: Azure Resource Manager (ARM/Bicep); Terraform; JSON, YAML.Scripting languages: PowerShell.Experience maintaining, scaling, and operating a consumer multi-tenant SaaS offering.
Additional Successful Qualities
Azure cloud provider experience.Windows server administration.Azure DevOps (VSTS/TFS) - Work Items such as: Yaml Build; Release Manager (GUI); Wiki; Source Control and Git.Networking Fundamentals such as: Network Subnetting; Firewall rules; DNS and Layer 4 and Layer 7 load balancing.Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory (AAD), Azure Active Directory Services (AADS).Experience maintaining, scaling, operating Elasticsearch.Azure SQL knowledge.Experience with NGINX.
