Senior Cobol Developer

Lincoln, NE or Milwaukee, WI.Job Title:
Sr. COBOL DeveloperJob Location:
Lincoln NE or Milwaukee, WI (Onsite from Day 1)Job Type:
12 Months ContractOpen for all work authorizations on W2 or C2C.Basic qualifications for consideration:An associate’s degree in computer Programming or related discipline is required, but a bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline is preferred.Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in application development.Roles and Responsibilities:Experience with iSeries, Unisys, and/or other mainframe technologies.Experience with mainframe development languages such as Cobol.Experience with C programming.Experienced with source management tools including GIT or similar tools.Agile and/or DevOps experience.Knowledgeable in industry standard software design patterns, development, data modelling, and SOLID principles.Knowledgeable in test driven development (TDD) and automated functional testing including tools like UFT, Postman, and Selenium.Ability to resolve architectural problems including scalability, performance, reliability, usability & security.A strong knowledge of the relationship between software and hardware interaction.Strong leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction or as part of a team.Demonstrated ability to work on highly complex projects within tight timelines.The ability to clearly communicate complex technical specifications, and a motivation to achieve best-in-class results.Financial industry interest and experience is beneficial.For immediate consideration, please send your resume directly to Priya at
