Every day, more than 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.Job TitlePurpose of the JobThe Logistics & Plant Manager will be in charge to implement and manage:The logistics of the various staging areas for depots and main lines, and heavy lifting.The necessary organisation to enable the best maintenance efficiency required for the plants, machines, and heavy tools.Position in the OrganisationOrganisation ChartProject ManagerLogistic and Plant & Tool LeaderOrganisational ReportingThis post reports hierarchically to the project manager.MissionObjectivesImplement and manage the necessary organization for plants and tools, and the logistics on staging areas in the optimal conditions of performance, costs, quality, and health and safety.ResponsibilitiesThe Logistics & Plant ManagerFor the Logistic Part:To make sure that the required organisation to enable the best logistic and lifting efficiency is implemented on his site.To coordinate with the Construction Manager and Procurement Team in order to optimise the deliveries for construction materials.To coordinate with the Construction Manager for the supervision of the whole logistic activity linked to the maintenance activities performed by the competent technicians.To organise the scheduling for the lifting operation & delivery on the site work.For the Plant & Tools Part:To make sure that the required organisation (means and resources) to enable the best maintenance efficiency is implemented on his site.To coordinate with the Construction Manager in order to optimise the plant and equipment preventive and corrective maintenance schedules (plant and equipment unavailability to be minimised).Responsible for the maintenance of the mobile machines (mechanical and hydraulic).To manage all maintenance activities performed by the competent technicians.To be in charge of the operation of the staging area fuelling station and facilities (sewage).To coordinate with HR and Procurement for defining the necessary resources (human, material, and consumable).Candidate RequirementsEducational RequirementsMechanical EngineerDesired Knowledge / ExperienceMinimum 5 to 10 years in a similar position.Validated experiences in maintenance management of plants, machines, and heavy tools used in such large projects and in logistics.Knowledge in heavy lifting operations.Leadership, initiative, and decision-minded.Knowledge on international contracts (safety rules for plants and machines).Team spirit approach and good communication skills.You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
