Cybersecurity Specialist
position can work remotely within the U.S.The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for the ongoing management of cybersecurity training efforts. Individuals in this role review cybersecurity training requirements, coordinate the assignment of relevant training content, and report on training completion rates across teams. Additionally, this role will assist with the ongoing analysis of internal and external cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities and the production of actionable intelligence for the organization. Individuals in this role collect data from multiple sources, recommend vulnerability mitigation approaches, and provide detailed analyses of emerging cybersecurity threats.What You’ll Work OnWork with risk management, security teams, and business leaders to align security awareness and education initiatives to compliance requirements.Measure the effectiveness of the awareness and training program, make recommendations, and execute change.Influence and validate metrics used in assessment of security program success and regularly report to security and business leadership.Interface with platform management and operations teams to aid in tool configuration and to ensure appropriate log review by operations personnel and data production for input into security intelligence program.Facilitate development of patterns for analysis tools used to identify and thwart malicious attacks.Protect applications in compliance with multiple, global privacy, security, business resiliency, and compliance frameworks.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.5 years of cybersecurity or IT management system experience with a strong preference for product security experience (consumer-facing apps and services).Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices.Experience with insider risk management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.PREFERRED:Cybersecurity training knowledge and experience.The base pay for this position is $72,700.00 – $145,300.00.
