Job Profile
The bank is looking for a
Lead PCI Security Advisor
who will be
responsible for conducting internal assessments in partnership with information security officers, application owners, and service owners
with PCI-DSS compliance tasks such as evidence preparation, evidence gathering, and review, aligned to the PCI-DSS requirements.
Provides input into the creation of hardening standards, researches security best practices, and other industry security trends to use as input into the improvement of the information security program.
Education Level
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
Work Experience
At least 2 years of experience developing and implementing PCI policies, standards, and procedures
At least 2 years of experience in direct or indirect work with public Cloud systems and on-premise infrastructure or systems
At least 2 years of experience supporting, maintaining, and implementing security for a large organization assessed against PCI-DSS and level 1 or 2
At least 6 years of experience supporting or leading a Level 1 or Level 2 organization’s PCI-DSS compliance effort, working with ISA or QSA
Duties/Responsibilities
Developing lasting partnerships with various enterprise teams, including collaborating on compliance-by-design strategies while balancing risk, business objectives, and business impact
Leading end-to-end internal assessments based on PCI DSS requirements
Managing team communications and visibility into the status of deliverables
Obtaining ISA certification within 12 months (if not current)
Promoting awareness and training of PCI principles, requirements, and security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of experience working in the financial services industry
AWS Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect certification
CISSP, GIAC, CEH, or Security+ certification
PCI QSA or ISA certification
