We are seeking qualified professionals to join our team supporting
Public Assistance Technical Assistance Contracts!If selected, individuals must be ready and willing to deploy to Georgia, Louisiana or Alabama for approximately one year.
This is NOT a remote position.
Previous FEMA Public Assistance (PA) experience is required.
Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance, which includes a moderate background investigation.These roles will work closely with FEMA and government officials to provide disaster assistance for the repair, replacement, and restoration of disaster-damaged, publicly owned facilities. Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to: site damage inspections, cost estimate and scope of work development, exploratory calls and recovery scoping meetings, project reviews and validation, review and determination of hazard mitigation requirements, and environmental & historic preservation reviews and guidance.The Public Assistance Program also encourages protection of these damaged facilities from future events by providing assistance for hazard mitigation measures during the recovery process.We’re looking for experienced and qualified personnel for the following positions:Costing SpecialistsQuality Assurance SpecialistsInsurance SpecialistsAccountantsCPAsDocument Validation SpecialistsTechnical SpecialistsCivil EngineersConstruction ManagersEnvironmental & Historic Preservation SpecialistsArchaeologistsProgram Delivery Managers (PDMG)Basic QualificationsMust be a US Citizen per contract requirementsPrevious experience with Grants Manager/Grants PortalAbility to obtain a Public Trust clearance which involves a Moderate Background Investigation with fingerprint and credit checksMust possess an undergraduate degree with additional professional experienceMust be willing to be deployed on assignment (usually 6-12+ months) to work in Zone 1Must be able to withstand physical requirements of the position, including site visits and any other physical demands of the position.ATCS, PLC is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
