Expert IT Service Management Platform
(ServiceNow) within our
IT Service Management Platform
team located in
Houston, TX.Key Responsibilities:Design and architect ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements and improve IT service management processes.Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.Develop and implement ServiceNow modules, workflows, and automation to streamline IT operations.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery.Perform regular system audits, upgrades, and patches to ensure the platform's stability and security.Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and user manuals.Provide training and support to end-users and other IT team members on ServiceNow functionality and best practices.Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and industry trends to continuously improve the platform.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect and Administrator, with a strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and best practices.Proficiency in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Service Catalog.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are highly desirable.Desired Qualifications:Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.Knowledge of ITIL framework and IT service management processes.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.Relocation will not be provided.Occidental does not offer sponsorship of employment-based nonimmigrant visa petitions for this role.Occidental is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
