Large global company is seeking to hire a Senior .Net Web Developer for an 11-month consulting role that could extend longer. You will work onsite for the corporate IT department based in North Fort Worth, TX (Alliance). Must be a local candidate to Dallas / Fort Worth with the ability and interest of commuting to the worksite each day, as remote work is on a very limited basis. As the Senior .Net Web Developer, you will be solutioning and developing and updating the user interface of a very large Field Payroll System (FPS) that was developed in 2011 with the C# language. This application must be moved to a newer technology framework. It is critical to convert the older technology to modern web technology such as Microsoft ASP.NET MVC (currently using MVC5 before the end of support date) to avoid interruption to business operations. Must also have a strong .Net Core background to support the server-side development needs of this project.The current application is used to process foreign employees' timesheets and calculate payroll based on the employee's nationality and contract host country tax rules and other regulations. The current processes have worked flawlessly since 2015. Maintaining current business processes and payroll calculation is imperative to this project. The current application's business layer was developed with C# language, and the data access layer was developed with Microsoft Entity Framework 6.0. The communication between Silverlight client to server side (business layer) was developed with WCF RIA domain services. No experience with Silverlight is needed for this role.Objectives

This conversion project will convert all Silverlight front-end user interfaces to ASP.NET MVC web (Html5) page user interfaces. To minimize impact or re-training to the current users, the new system shall maintain a similar system navigation structure and process steps and interface as much as possible. Will develop a Single Page Application as a replacement for the current user interface. The database and business layer shall stay the same as current architecture with very limited changes, if any. The WCF RIA domain services will be converted to SOA architecture and/or Restful Web API to support MVC architecture.REQUIRED SKILLS

Seeking 5+ years ASP.NET MVC 5 or .NET Core MVC experience. Strong web front-end development skills.Has 5+ years working experience with LINQ (Language Integrated Query) in C#.Strong skills with .Net Core.Good experience with JavaScript and jQuery, as well as AJAX is highly desired.Thoroughly understand SOA architecture and Entity Framework.Solid Microsoft SQL Server knowledge and strong T-SQL skills.Can work independently and as a team player.PREFERRED SKILLS
