We are seeking a
Transportation Engineer
to join our
Manchester, NH
team, working either remotely, in the office, or a combination thereof. Fuss & O'Neill's Transportation Engineers create safe and inclusive transportation spaces throughout New England.
This position may be
full-time or
part-time
and will report to our
Manchester, NH

available for this position.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Transportation Engineer with Fuss & O'Neill, you will work on a range of projects and be involved in all levels of project development - from the initial planning studies to the final construction documents. You will work with industry leaders to craft tailored solutions that are mindful of equitable access and environmental impact, and you will use your knowledge to mentor junior staff. This role includes roadway and complete streets design and calculations, report writing, permitting, and client communication. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
3+ years of relevant working experience in highway engineering and roadway design Experience with CAD software - MicroStation and OpenRoads/InRoads preferred; AutoCAD, Civil3D and GIS is a plus
Experience working with DOTs - preference for experience with NH project design requirements and plan preparation guidelines
Experience in other New England states is a plus
