This position monitors system applications, ensures systems run smoothly, and creates reports and other documentation outlining findings/solutions. This position sits within Regions' Technology department.Primary ResponsibilitiesOversees development and installation of new hardware and softwareInstalls and configures systems and other softwareTests installed software for malfunction detectionIdentifies and resolves business systems issuesDesigns and deploys new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operation systemsMeasures effectiveness and efficiency of existing systemsDevelops and implements strategies to improve systemsMonitors and tests system performanceTypically has full ownership of a processMay act as a procedural expertMay lead the work of junior level associatesThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related fieldFive (5) years of experienceSkills and CompetenciesAbility to collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals to achieve a common objectiveAbility to conduct system analysis to detect issues with performanceAbility to develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challengesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyKnowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization and software debuggingStrong communication, analytical and problem solving skillsStrong executional capabilitiesThorough understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems and how to integrate them*This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.Additional job detail for this specific opportunityResponsible for delivering the full lifecycle of the delivery of a robotics process automation solutionWorks directly with business process owners and technology resources during automation development projectsLeads the discovery, development, testing, and implementation activities to deliver complex automation solutions using the UiPath platformTriages and performs troubleshooting for identified issues with automation processesTrains and assists other automation team members in development and execution of automation scriptsStrongly preferred experience for this specific opportunity3+ years of experience building solutions using the UiPath robotics process automation platformDeep understanding of the UiPath robotics process automation platform components, including Orchestrator, Document Understanding, and othersExperience with relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures)Experience building integrations with APIs and databasesExperience with code repository and versioning tools, including Git and TFSAbility to translate complex problems and processes into effective automation solutions with consideration for system limitations and performance requirementsThis position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building with the primary location being for Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. Exceptions to the geographic location requirement may be made for current Regions associates who work remotely.Compensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
