We welcome diverse perspectives and people who are not afraid to challenge assumptions.Note: We have a hybrid work environment in our Seattle/Bellevue office unless the role or business dictates otherwise.What You Will Be DoingPlay a pivotal role in development, implementation, and maintenance of our DevOps infrastructure.You will partner closely with local engineering teams and offshore SRE teams to build robust, scalable, and efficient systems for automating the software delivery lifecycle.Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other relevant tools to automate software deployment.Lead the development and implementation of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and SRE functions to drive best practices for software development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.Support and improve our tools for continuous integration, streamline our operations, processes, and releases management.Work on identifying and integrating new tools and technologies to improve automation and streamline workflows.Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Terraform, and scripting languages to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.Set up monitoring, tracing and logging solutions using existing or new, internal or cloud-native technologies.Implement and manage containerized applications using AWS services such as Amazon ECS or EKS, and orchestrate containers using Docker and Kubernetes.What You Will NeedBachelor's degree from an accredited institution, and either 3+ years of relevant professional experience or advanced degree such as a masters or PhD.Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.Typical qualifications for the role are 5+ years of relevant experience DevOps, SRE, or related role, demonstrating a progression in responsibilities and technical skills.Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.).Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.Expertise in managing and deploying cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with cross-functional teams effectively.What We Offer YouOpportunities to innovate in fintech.Tools for personal and professional growth.Inclusive and diverse work environment.Resources to invest in your community.Competitive salary and benefits.FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $136,190.00 - $228,790.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
