Pay Rate: $49 per hour
Type: Hybrid, 3 days onsite

Summary:
One of our Government clients in Indianapolis is looking for a developer who will be responsible for maintaining a number of stabilized .NET applications developed in VB.net and C# with Oracle and SQL Server as databases. The software developer position involves analyzing software requirements, designing, developing, testing, and implementing new systems or making enhancements to existing applications according to specifications from the program team.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
Use Microsoft .NET Framework and a supported MVC framework, C# programming language for application development.
Senior level full-stack development experience with .NET technologies, applying object-oriented techniques and best practices in analysis, design, development, unit testing, and deployment.
Convert existing applications to .NET Framework with additional security features; document all deliverables and perform system unit testing and validation of procedures.
Collaborate with program area team on technical issues including system design and testing.
Analyze information to recommend and plan the development and implementation of new systems or modifications of existing systems.
Work with program team members on detailed business requirements and ensure project goal alignment.
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
Coordinate with project manager to maintain project plan and ensure project milestones are met.
Work independently and under general supervision with the opportunity for independent judgment.
Modify existing applications due to changes in technology, security, state or federal law changes, and national standards.
Contribute to creating responsive websites for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms; prior experience in React.js and Node.js is welcome if the candidate is willing to work on any stacks.
Understand HTML5, AngularJS, React, Node.js, and Mongo to convert wireframes and PSD designs into workable web apps, JavaScript object models, and UI element binding.
Experience using asynchronous RESTful services (JSON) and creating RESTful services with Node; other responsibilities as assigned.
