to develop and implement software solutions for

Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR)

processing. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of advanced algorithms leveraging state-of-the-art technologies in InSAR data processing, with the goal of extracting meaningful insights for

Ground Motion

services.Activities:Software Development for SAR Processing:

Develop and maintain software solutions for interferometric SAR processing using modern tools and frameworks and following the Agile approach.Algorithm Development:

Create and optimize SAR algorithms, propose new ideas, and engage with relevant scientific literature.Machine Learning Integration:

Implement machine learning models to analyze sensor data, detect patterns, and automate manual quality checks.Data Analysis:

Develop analysis tools to validate output products.Technical Management and Collaboration:

Contribute to technical offers and bidding processes; manage the software development cycle of specific projects.Qualifications:Minimum 3-4 years of relevant work experience.Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, Information Engineering, or a related field.Strong fundamentals in image and signal processing (e.g., FFT, filters, interpolation).Knowledge of probability theory, optimization techniques, and linear programming.At least 2 years of experience in scientific Python programming (numpy, scipy, pandas).Proven experience with Linux systems.Intermediate oral and written English proficiency (B2 level).Experience with Agile software development.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage large-scale datasets.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications (Considered an advantage):Knowledge of SAR systems, including acquisition models, focusing techniques, and calibration.Experience in SAR interferometry (InSAR).Experience in Earth Observation (EO) data analysis or downstream applications.Proficiency in C/C++ or IDL programming languages.Experience in cloud computing or High-Performance Computing (HPC), particularly with xarray and dask.Seniority:Primary Location:
