The Systems Engineer will provide technical assistance to end users in an efficient and accurate manner. This role provides front-line support for the daily operations of Eclipse Partner(s) via desk side and remote support.

Apply customer service and technical skills to resolve issues to the end-user’s satisfactionUtilize phone, email, chat and remote management utilities to assist with troubleshooting ticketsConfigure, test, install, and support servers, firewalls, workstations, and peripheral equipmentInstall software, patches, updates on servers, workstations and network equipmentServe as escalation point for Tier 1 issues and train junior engineers on troubleshooting skillsetProvide onsite support at customer locations for technical requirements as neededLead in the design, planning, and implementation of technologies for project successDetermine business impact of requests, collect information and escalate when necessaryAnalyze support requirements and makes modifications to systems based on customer requestsPerform needs assessment, recommends system improvements and implement solutionsAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical end-usersDocument internal and customer knowledge accurately and comprehensively in a timely mannerQualifications and Requirements:
3+ years of experience troubleshooting server and network issues3+ years of experience supporting physical and virtual server and network hardware/softwareProficient knowledge of Active Directory/Exchange/ M365/Azure ADProficient knowledge of security technologies, best practices and vulnerability remediationExperience with network management; routers, switches, access points, firewallsSolid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (IP routing / network experience preferred)Excellent communication skills both written and verbalHighly detailed and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independentlyCustomer service oriented with a friendly and energetic personality that works well with others.Professional appearance and conductAssociates and/or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related a plusIT Certifications (CCNA, MCSA/E, Azure, MS365) highly desired
