IntroductionAs an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an IBM Application Architect: SAP, you help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.Solution and Deliver SAP Transformational programs, with deep involvement in the platform, data, security, and infrastructure design.Lead Architecture, Strategy, Design, and Roadmap of all Integration patterns within any SAP Hybrid integration Landscape.Understand and act as a Subject Expert in SAP architectural models and integration between the platforms, always developing for the least risk. Understand the clients' application modernization needs and the best cloud modernization strategy for the client.Maintain alignment with client’s business strategy, drivers, and goals.Ensure that the solutioning of client engagement enhances the customer’s competitive advantage, whilst meeting profit and quality targets for IBM.Support the continuous refinement of IBM’s services, including maturation/training of methods, tools, and points of view, as well as integration with IBM’s other services and products for synergistic value. Harvest, share, and present intellectual capital from past and parallel engagements.The SAP Architect develops roadmaps, applies technology to solve complex business processes, and develops a holistic enterprise architecture model that supports established enterprise goals and bridges the gap between business and technology needs. Helps clients to future-proof their technology environment. Establish IT infrastructure, maintain and update IT hardware, software, and services. Map business requirements to (SAP) solutions. Must understand Cloud Architecture and be familiar with the SAP RISE movement.

Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseSAP S4/HANA transformation projects experience.5+ years experience developing enterprise architecture models that are closely aligned with business strategies and operating models.5 years of experience as an SAP Technical Lead or Integration Architect.Experience in architecting and managing complex SAP BTP solutions and platforms. Strong understanding of SAP BTP services, including Cloud Foundry, SAP Business Application Studio, and integration tools.Integration of SAP and non-SAP applications.Demonstrated know-how for Enterprise architecture methodology and framework.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline.

Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseTOGAF Certification.SAP Cloud ERP certification.SAP Cloud platform technology certification.
