We are currently looking to add a Roadway Project Engineer to our team. As a Roadway Project Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

Analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations and drawings for Expressway/Limited-Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads using DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteria, with guidance provided on complex mattersDevelop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK and/or Open RoadsApproach tasks with a project mindset, to include coordination with other disciplines throughout the duration of the project; propose innovative solutions to design problems with an understanding of project scope and goalsAssign, track, and review tasks of technicians, designers, and engineers, ensuring adherence to project schedules; QC final work productPrepare engineering reports and contract documents for review; perform independent peer reviews on teamwork productsReview contract plans and calculations from other engineering teams and outside entities to verify completion and compliance with governingtransportationdesign codes and contract plans and specificationsPotential to serve as the Engineer-of-Record for mid-size and miscellaneoustransportationdesignsEffectively present proposed team design solutions as part of internal project meetings; attend and contribute to presentations with external partiesAdhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely personal resume updates, providing technical proposal support, and participating in marketing campaignsEnsure timely completion of time sheets, expense reports, and labor hours managementTake ownership of personal and team member career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop and teach new skills, and setting and pursuing goalsContribute to the development of team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors#LI-Hybrid

Qualifications
