Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. Responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure to support scalable and secure applications. Play a crucial role in optimizing cloud resources, implementing best practices for cloud security, and ensuring high availability and disaster recovery strategies. Position requires a deep understanding of cloud services, proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, and a strong foundation in networking and system administration. Collaborating with development teams to facilitate DevOps practices, troubleshooting complex issues, and continuously improving cloud environment are integral parts of this role.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure that is scalable, secure, and highly available.Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance efficiency.Implement and maintain cloud security best practices.Develop and oversee disaster recovery and high availability strategies.Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (such as Terraform or CloudFormation) to automate the provisioning of cloud resources.Collaborate with development teams to support DevOps practices, ensuring a smooth and efficient CI/CD pipeline.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the cloud environment.Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve our cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience.Deep understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).Strong foundation in networking, security, and system administration.Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, automation).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in cloud services (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.).Experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash).Knowledge of container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker).
