Parsons is looking for amazingly talented Network Engineers to join our team! In this role you will get to support our a critical mission partner to enhance national security.What You'll Be Doing:
Design network to integrate with existing infrastructure to ensure operations teams can use tools and technologies effectively.Work with the program management team to properly identify and prioritize features for future site installs.Work with the full government and systems engineering team on integration issues and ways to maximize system performance, including diagnostics and resolution.Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to ensure long-term viability while minimizing costs.Implement preventative maintenance measures to help the team minimize outages.What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Must have a Bachelor of Science in engineering, scientific, technical discipline, or comparable work experience.Must have active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and amenable for poly upgrade.Proficient on telecommunications, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and infrastructure technologies such as IEEE, EIA/TIA, SATCOM, coax, copper, and fiber.Maintain understanding of WAN, LAN, and Campus technologies plus be familiar with routing protocols to include; BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and IP/MPLS.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
