We have a strong pipeline of business, and the growth we are experiencing is exciting.Join our EII – Project Delivery Team as our new EPC Quality Manager and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.Your new roleThe Quality Manager is responsible for monitoring and auditing a project’s quality management requirements, as well as the Quality Management Plan’s development and execution on large EPC (Engineer, Procure, Construct delivery method) projects. This position will work closely with Project Managers and Construction Managers for the monitoring and oversight of a project’s quality objectives/activities.Your key responsibilities will be:Acts as an advocate for Ramboll by promoting all company policies and procedures and promoting a positive attitude towards the goals of each project.Works with Corporate Quality Control Manager, Project Manager, and Lead Superintendent to ensure that the needs of the field QA/QC Inspector staff are being addressed.Responsible for the verification, proper performance, and documentation of the work, identification of quality problems, and the need for and verification of implementation and completion of any corrective actions.Provides leadership, support, and guidance for project specific quality management activities.Develops/reviews planning for quality requirements of EPC or Design Build projects, including identifying the standards, guidelines, and checklists that are appropriate for the project.Develops and/or updates project specific audit plans, including schedule, documentation, and resource requirements.Creates project specific quality management plans during the planning stage of a project.Provides guidance in the execution of the Quality Management System and for procedural improvements and best practices based on audit results/experiences and lessons learned.Leads project team in quality related training and awareness regarding activities planned for the project.Able to investigate non-conformance issues and implementation of corrective actions.Monitors alignment of project procedures and processes with the Quality Management System and project contract requirements.Plans and executes systematic and independent examinations/audits of project quality requirements, objectives, and documentation.Ensures that contract specified Factory Acceptance Testing, QA/QC testing, monitoring, and records documentation meets project requirements.Regularly interacts with field operations and project management teams, corporate Operations Support, Project Controls teams, and Clients regarding Quality related matters.Become knowledgeable of all drawings, project plans, and specifications.Performs random inspections of work performed by Subcontractors and reviews procedures and quality records to verify compliance.Manages document control as it relates to Quality; verifies that project documents used at the jobsite are updated, maintained, and stored in accordance with project procedure.Manages Non-Conformance Control; verifies that non-conformances are identified, documented, tracked, and resolved by the PM and the Site CM in an acceptable manner.Adheres to internal company standards, policies, and procedures.Performs special projects and completes other duties as assigned or requested.About youBachelor’s degree in construction science, Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field.Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in various aspects of design, monitoring, construction, and design-build/EPC Project Management.Strong background or familiarity with safety and environmental requirements on construction projects.Technical expertise related to design, construction, and related procurement requirements.Technical expertise in implementing Inspection and Testing programs for Civil, earthwork, and power delivery scoped work.Solid understanding of critical path scheduling.Travel required.Preferred Experience and Education:Bachelor’s degree in construction science, Construction Management, Engineering, Quality or relevant fieldExperience in managing, organizing, directing, and leading construction QA/QC preferred.External/Internal proven auditing experience is a plus.30-Hour OSHACertifications involving inspection, testing, and commissioning.What we can offer youCommitment to your developmentLeaders guided by our Leadership PrinciplesA culture that welcomes you as the unique person you areInspiration from colleagues, clients, and projectsThe long-term thinking of a foundation-owned companyMedical and Life InsuranceReady to join us?Please submit your application with your up-to-date CV.
