At Regions, the Auditor performs internal audit activities in accordance with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (SPPIA).Primary ResponsibilitiesUnderstands the concept of risk-based auditing and perform audit engagement test steps with supervisionDetermines the appropriateness and sufficiency of audit evidence with supervisionFollows the internal audit methodology and documentation requirements with supervisionCreates work papers that meet the audit evidence requirements under direct supervisionThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldPreferencesApplicable professional certifications (e.g. CPA, CIA, CISA, CFSA, CRCM, CFE, CRP, CAMS, CFIRS, CISSP, or CBA) or progression towards oneSkills and CompetenciesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong time management and prioritization skillsStrong verbal, written communication, and organizational skillsStrong work ethic and self-motivationAdditional PreferencesExperience assessing the adequacy of IT controls, including ITGC and ITACUnderstanding and ability to perform risk-based audit concepts and testing strategiesExperience with Digital Banking technology and/or auditExperience in Data Governance/Management and/or auditPosition Type:

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
